- Variable exercise response: Tools to promote improvement in strength, endurance or fitness through tailored training.
- Recurrent injury or delayed recovery: Musculoskeletal symptoms or prolonged recovery affecting training consistency.
- Performance Breakthroughs: Empower progress when structured training and nutrition hit a plateau, revealing untapped potential.
- High Training Resilience: Optimise outcomes for athletes and active individuals thriving under regular performance-driven exercise.
- Injury Risk Mastery: Proactively address ligament, or stress-related injury patterns for greater durability.
- Training Precision: Harness genetic insights to fine-tune intensity and recovery for peak efficiency and long-term gains.
Overview
DNA Sport® is a genetic test that evaluates variation in genes involved in exercise physiology, including energy production, oxygen utilisation, inflammatory signalling and connective tissue structure. These processes influence how individuals adapt to physical training and recover from exertion. An ideal test for athletes through to individuals wanting to optimise thier exercise regimes. Individual genetic variability may help provide clinical context in individuals with variable training response, recurrent injury or delayed recovery. Assessment of performance-related pathways can support understanding of variability in endurance capacity, strength adaptation or musculoskeletal resilience.
Results are interpreted alongside training history, clinical findings and lifestyle factors where appropriate. The test may be useful for guiding further investigation or informing structured training, recovery strategies and exercise and movement optimisation.

Privacy policy:
The DNA and the original sample material are destroyed after 3 months, so that there are no names or other identifiers on the samples. The samples are analysed only for the SNPs that are included in the tests at DNALife, and no other research or analyses are performed without a separate permission from the patient. We do not give or sell the results to any third parties.
