Expanded Mold panel (16 IgE, 15 IgG & 7 IgA) serum

$ 499.00

The Expanded Mold Panel (16 IgE, 15 IgG & 7 IgA) serum test measures immune reactivity to a broad range of common environmental and food-related moulds using serum IgE, IgG and IgA antibodies.

Size

  • Respiratory reactions: congestion, sneezing or watery eyes linked with environments.
  • Skin responses: itching or rashes associated with exposure.
  • Airway sensitivity: wheezing or breathing discomfort in damp or musty rooms.
  • Indoor exposure concerns: reactions in basements, bathrooms or humid spaces.
  • Outdoor exposure patterns: changes when gardening, raking leaves or spending time in woodland areas.
  • Food-related reactions: discomfort after eating mould-prone or fermented foods.
  • Persistent congestion: ongoing throat irritation or coughing.
  • Environmental history: past exposure to visible mould in homes or workplaces.
  • Asthma-related reactions: breathing changes in mould-rich environments.

Overview

The Expanded Mold Panel (16 IgE, 15 IgG & 7 IgA) serum test measures immune reactivity to a selection of common indoor and outdoor moulds using serum-based ELISA analysis. It evaluates IgE, IgG and IgA antibody classes, offering a broad look at immediate-type responses, exposure patterns and mucosal activity. The test uses a standard blood draw and assesses moulds frequently found in homes, workplaces and food environments.

This panel may be helpful when practitioners want a clearer overview of mould-related immune activity in relation to respiratory concerns, environmental exposures or food-associated reactions. It allows patterns to be viewed across different antibody classes, which may relate to airborne or ingestion-related exposure. Practitioners can also explore whether specific environments, seasons or household settings coincide with reactivity.

Results are typically used alongside a detailed history, home or workplace context, and lifestyle factors such as ventilation, humidity or food choices. When combined with other relevant investigations, this panel may help practitioners understand how mould exposure fits within the wider picture for clients.
